World Series of Fighting 9’s Josh Burkman: ‘Tyler Stinson’s aggression plays into my style’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with World Series of Fighting 9 welterweight Josh Burkman as he prepares for his main card bout on tonight (March 29, 2014) against Tyler Stinson at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The recent WSOF title challenger realizes that if he wants to achieve his goal of becoming the promotion’s champion, he’ll have to get back on track with a victory over the durable Stinson, and he feels his style is perfectly suited for the “Evolution’s” aggression:

“He’s very aggressive and I think when opponents are very aggressive, it plays into my style of fighting. He’s really patient with it, but when he decides to go, he goes. I’m prepared for all aspects, but for me, to get me to try to change my stand-up game, he’ll have to make me feel very uncomfortable first.”
