UFC Fight Night 38 will be live from Natal, Brazil on Sunday, March 23rd with 12 scheduled bouts, including a six fight main card that will be broadcast on FOX Sports 1. After the fights have concluded, the UFC will be awarding a $50,000 ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus for the most exciting bout of the evening. To place a wager on this prop, or any others for Fight Night 38, you may do so at Several Bookmakerss. I believe the top condenders for this prize are: Dollaway/Ferreira +450 — As long as there is no early finish, I think this could be a very exciting fight. These are both aggressive middleweights who have been looking better and better with each and every fight. I am expecting this to be a fun fight, regardless of how long it lasts. They will both be looking to make a good impression that will result in a boost in the UFC’s middleweight rankings. Should this match-up notch the bonus, it would be the second for Dollaway, while it would be the first time for Ferreira. Maldonado/Villante +450 — I believe this is going to be a scrap in which both light heavyweights throw bombs. I could see this as being the first Maldonado fight in a while, other than the Teixeira bout, that ends inside the distance. That said, I do believe it will go the distance more often than not, and feel it would be Villante getting his hand raised a majority of the time. I think both fighters will be competing for the bonus, so I don’t think either of them will be playing it safe for a win. I am expecting this to be a very fun fight, and will be surprised if it isn’t. Should they earn the bonus, it would be the second time for Maldonado, while it would mean the first for Villante. Jason/Siler +800 — Every time Siler steps inside the Octagon, he is fighting for a bonus. He is always looking for the finish, and if he can’t get it, he is doing everything in his power to put on a show by putting all the tools in his arsenal at full display. He is very talented both on the feet and on the mat, and is a fan favorite featherweight to watch compete. I believe he will be looking to keep this fight with Jason on the feet in an effort to put on a show for the Brazilian crowd and take home a bonus; perhaps two. Jason is talented all-around, as well, but has not been as exciting to watch. However, I think a pairing with Siler will change that, as long as he does not opt to play it safe, which he has never done in the past. It would be wise of him to use his offensive grappling to grind out a decision against Siler, but he has never displayed a high IQ in the past, so I can’t expect him to now. He will likely opt to stand and trade with Siler, and that would mean that we will be in for an incredible treat of Muay Thai exchanges. I really like the chances of this fight taking home the bonus, and at +800, it is my favorite bet on the entire card, and my money will surely be on it.
