Matt Riddle Titan FC debuted on the CBS Sports Network tonight with their 27th event and overall it was a success as the fights proved to be quite entertaining for the fans. Overall, all five betting favorites came through with the win. Here’s a betting recap for Titan FC 27 based on the closing results at Several Bookmakers: Titan FC 27 Favorites That Won In the main event of the evening, Mike Ricci defeated Jorge Gurgel via first-round TKO (punches and elbows). Ricci bounced back in impressive fashion after being cut by the UFC to stop Gurgel, who lost his third-straight fight in MMA. Ricci closed at -750 (bet $750 to win $100), while Gurgel lost as a +600 underdog (bet $100 to win $600). In the co-main event of the evening, Matt Riddle defeated Michael Kuiper via second-round submission (guillotine choke). For the third fight in a row, despite being the better overall fighter Kuiper left his neck out and was guillotined. He lost as a +10 dog, while Riddle scored as a -160 fav in his first fight since being cut by the UFC. In a featherweight bout, Kurt Holobaugh defeated Eric Marriott via decision. Despite a knockdown scare in the third, Holobaugh was the better overall fighter and won as a -500 fav, while Marriott lost as a +400 dog. In a bantamweight bout, Kevin Croom defeated Bryan Goldsby via unanimous decision. It was a closer fight than expected but Croom cashed out at -325, while Goldsby lost as a +295 dog. In another bantamweight bout, Anthony Gutierrez jumped back in the win column with a first-round submission (triangle choke) victory over Charlie DuBray. Gutierrez cashed as a -480 favorite, while DuBray lost as a +423 dog.
