LFC 28’s Rakim Cleveland: ‘I’m ready to go eight rounds if I have to’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with LFC 28 middleweight Rakim Cleveland as he prepares for his main event bout tonight (Feb. 21, 2014) against Bubba Bush at the Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio, Texas.

The former Houston native relocated to Iowa in preparation for this fight, and he’s hoping the change in setting will put him in prime position to deal with Bush’s best weapons:

“I did get a chance to work with some of the wrestlers around. We had a couple guys come in from Iowa State to come down and give me looks, shoot in on me and the kind of stand-up grappling and the Greco Roman stuff. I know Bubba’s really good at that so I definitely had to get ready for that. Other than that, it was a regular typical camp. I’m ready to go eight rounds if I have to”
