MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC on Fox 9 flyweight Scott Jorgensen as he prepares for his main card bout tonight (Dec. 14, 2013) against Zach Makovsky at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California.
The talented former bantamweight had a rough ordeal as he prepares to make his flyweight debut, as his upcoming opponent Zach Makovsky is his third scheduled opponent due to injuries. “Young Guns” doesn’t expect to be negatively affected, however:
“Look at it like this. It’s like college wrestling all over again. Every college tournament your opponents change every match. You might be facing someone you know real well, you might be facing someone who’s on the rise or something. So you never know. It doesn’t change too much for me. I’ve prepared to fight both orthodox and southpaw because this is the third opponent I’ve been through for this card. We started with Ian McCall, then he got hurt, then it was John Dodson, now he got hurt. It is what it is. I don’t care.”
