RFA 10’s Mike Rhodes on opponent Alan Jouban: ‘He’s got a soft record’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with RFA 10 welterweight Mike Rhodes as he prepares for his main event this Friday night (Oct. 25, 2013) against Alan Jouban at Hy-Vee Hall at Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

The talented member of the Roufusport Team has plenty of confidence as his headlining bout approaches, and he doesn’t feel that his opponent Jouban has faced anyone who helped him prepare properly.

“He’s got a soft record. If you look at it, a lot of the guys he’s fought don’t have quit the experience as him. I think the guy he fought that had the most fights, the most potential was shitty and he actually beat him. If I had to break down Alan’s game, I would say he’s a striker. He’s more of a power striker who likes to throw everything behind all of his punches. He doesn’t really set things up. He likes to blast away.”
