UFC 165 ‘Submission of the Night’ Betting Props

KimuraUFC 165 Submission of the Night Betting Props UFC on 164 is live from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada tonight! The 13-fight card will feature many exciting fights, and likely plenty of finishes. The UFC will be handing out a $50,000 bonus for “Submission of the Night” — the option to bet on which fighter will win said bonus is only available at Several Bookmakerss. I believe the top condenders for this prize are: Renan Barao +400 — If you think Barao is going to win inside the distance, and that happens, it’s very likely going to be by way of submission. If Barao finishes Wineland with a sub, he will most likely get the award. So if you’re someone who predicts a Barao by Submission victory, this prop may be for you. Wilson Reis +1650 — Reis is facing a talented submission grappler in Ivan Menjivar, but I believe he will have the advantage on the ground heading into this bout. Should the fight hit the mat, I think Reis’ chances of securing a submission are fairly decent, especially in rounds two and three. Considering the odds, I see serious value in this line. Dustin Kimura +750 — Of everybody on the entire card, if I had to pick one fighter and say “this guy is going to win by submission”, it would be Dustin Kimura. I see the tough Hawaiian outlasting Gagnon and then choking him out when he’s gassed. Renee Forte +1650 — If the fight hits the mat, it’s going to be Forte’s world and I think he will have a decent chance at securing a submission. Gabe’s SOTN Play: 1*UNIT on Reis +1650, 1*UNIT on Kimura +700, and 1*UNIT on Forte +1650 — Risking 3*UNITS to win 14.5*UNITS if either Reis or Forte wins, or 5*UNITS if Kimura wins.
