Bellator returns to the MMA world with a rare Saturday night offering that will kick start their season nine slate of tournaments. The culmination of the season is of course the November 2nd PPV card featuring Michael Chandler and Eddie Alvarez in a rematch of their November 2011 epic. Before we get to that PPV however, there are tournaments to be decided, and the middleweights take center stage at Bellator 98. The first round of the middleweight tournament will take place on this card, as well as a middleweight title bout between Alexander Shlemenko and replacement Brett Cooper.
