UFC Fight Night 28 Fight of the Night Betting Props UFC Fight Night 28 from Brazil delivers a card full of potentially exciting fights. For the most exciting bout of the evening, the UFC will be awarding a $50,000 bonus. The option to bet which fight at UFC 164 will win the $50,000 Fight of the Bonus can only be found at Several Bookmakerss. For UFC Fight Night 27, I hit my play for Condit/Kampmann +300, but for UFC 164, I got robbed out of my play for Poirier/Koch FOTN (which I got at +425 and also +525 the day of the fights). The award went to Lim/Krauss, which did not even last one round and was not all that exciting, apart from the knockout that ended the fight. I should be 2-0 with these articles, but with that outrageous robbery, I’m 1-1 going into this next one… I believe the top contenders for this prize are: Francisco Trinaldo vs Piotr Hallmann +700 — Francisco Trinaldo is an exciting fighter who fights for the fans and he cannot wait to put on another show for his fellow Brazilians. In this bout, he is going against a Polish fighter who much like Trinaldo, is a brawler who likes to move forward, push the pace, take the fight to the ground, and look to do some serious damage. Piotr Hallmann has been dreaming of fighting in the UFC since childhood and in Brazil with a 13-1 record, he will get his chance. I expect both fighters to fight their hearts out and leave it all in the cage, making this one of the most exciting meetings of the evening, if not the most exciting. Edimilson “Kevin” Souza vs Felipe Arantes +700 — I think stylistically this will make for a fun fight. Most of it will take place on the feet, I imagine. When the fight does go to the ground, it will be Souza taking it there. Both fighters are full of heart and fight for the finish. Arantes is already a four-time Octagon veteran who has already put on his fair share of fun fights for the Brazilian fans, and he will look to have another, hopefully earning him the bonus. Keith Wisniewski vs Ivan “Batman” Jorge +1000 — This is a fight between two guys who are going to be tough to put away, unless serious fatigue comes into play. I doubt that will be the case here, even considering that Batman is taking this fight on short notice. These are both exciting fighters and this bout very well could be rewarded Fight of the Night. Out of all the candidates for FOTN, I think the line for this fight holds the most value. Ramiro Hernandez, Jr vs Lucas Martins +700 — Lucas Martins already notched his first Fight of the Night bonus in his last fight versus Jeremy Larsen, which he won by knockout, after two and half rounds of crowd-pleasing action. In this bout, he is going up against another exciting fighter who likes to put on a show. This fight will likely be a striking battle and I believe it will end inside the distance, via some sort of jaw-dropping finish. Gabe’s FOTN Play: 1*UNIT on each of the four. If either Trinaldo/Hallmann, Souza/Arantes, or Hernandez/Martins cashes, we will be +4u. If Wisniewski/Jorge cashes, we will be up +7u.
