UFC 164 Knockout of the Night Props UFC on 164 is live from Milwaukee, WI tonight! The 12-fight card features many fights that fans are anticipating to see, and everybody is hoping for finishes. The UFC will be giving out a $50,000 bonus for Knockout of the Night — the option to bet on which fighter will win said bonus is only available at Several Bookmakerss. Gabe’s #1 Play for Knockout of the Night: There Won’t Be a TKO/KO +1600 — It looks to me like there could be a great number of fights on this card that make their way to final bell and get to the judges scorecards. There isn’t a fight I can look at on this card and surely expect a knockout from. Other considerations: #2 Ben Rothwell +900 — I think that the single fighter on this card with the greatest chance of producing a knockout finish is Ben Rothwell; that combined with my thinking that there may not be many knockouts on this card makes the +900 line look like a worthwhile play. #3 Chad Mendes +1450 — If you think Chad Mendes is going to knock Clay Guida out, and are looking at the Mendes by TKO/KO prop at +360, I suggest you stop and take a look at this +1450 line, instead. I believe if Chad Mendes manages to continue his string of knockouts against the very durable Clay Guida, this prop bet is almost certain to cash. #4 Erik Koch +750 — Dustin Poirier is hard to finish but Erik Koch has been known to knock out guys who are hard to finish, such as Raphael Assuncao and Francisco Rivera. Many fans are expecting to see a knockout from Erik Koch. Koch himself has stated that he will be out to get one. Poirier could be just another knockout victim to add to the list, though I personally think this fight goes the distance more often than not.
