LFA 91 takes place at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota tonight (Friday, Sept. 11, 2020) at 9 p.m. ET live on UFC Fight Pass. Middleweights Chidi Njokuani and Cristhian Torres are slated to duke it out in the main event.
Njokuani (18-7) is making his LFA debut, although he fought in both of LFA’s founding promotions, RFA and Legacy, going 5-1 with one no contest. Njokuani is an eight-fight veteran of Bellator and is currently riding a two-fight losing streak. He most recently lost a decision to Rafael Carvalho at Bellator 224 in August of 2019. Torres (15-10) is 0-1 under the LFA banner. He most recently defeated Askar Mozharov via first round knockout at Titan FC 58 in December of 2019.
The co-main event also features a pair of middleweights as Tim Caron takes on Kyle Stewart.
Caron (9-2) is making his debut with the LFA promotion. He is a Bellator veteran and competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. He most recently defeated Lucas Pimenta via unanimous decision at Bellator in October of 2019. Stewart (9-4) has gone 3-1 in his LFA career, and also is a UFC veteran, going 0-2. He most recently defeated Mike Jones via first round knockout at Fierce FC in January.
