LFA 83 takes place at the Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas tonight (Friday, March 6, 2020) at 9 p.m. ET live on UFC Fight Pass. Featherweights Damon Jackson and Mauro Chaulet are slated to duke it out in the main event.
Jackson (16-3-1) has fought in LFA since its first event, going 6-1 in the promotion. He most recently lost to Movlid Khaybulaev via first round knockout at PFL 2018 #2 last May. Chaulet (14-6) holds a 1-0 record with LFA. He is currently riding a three-fight win streak and most recently defeated Samson Phommabout via split decision at LFA 75 in September.
The co-main event features a pair of welterweights as Justin Patterson takes on Matt Dixon.
Patterson (11-5) has split his fights in LFA with a 1-1 record in the promotion. He most recently was defeated by Derrick Krantz via first round TKO at LFA 65 last March. Dixon (8-0) is making his promotional debut. Most recently he defeated Braden Smith via second round knockout at Xtreme Fight Night 357 last April.
