Jeff Curran is a fighter who was really ahead of his time. The ‘Big Frog’, who has been fighting professionally since 1998, spent a good portion of his early career fighting well above the weight he will fight on Friday night as he takes on Pedro Munhoz for the RFA Bantamweight Title. It will be interesting then to see how he handles Munhoz, who by all indications is a UFC quality fighter at 135lbs. MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg recently spoke with Curran about his upcoming fight, how he balances his out of the cage responsibilities, and some of the more tedious aspects of getting prepared for a fight.
