UFC 163 featured some top talent in the Featherweight, Light Heavyweight and Flyweight divisions, but after the results from Saturday night, the 205lb class was the only one to see any real upheaval. Jose Aldo retained his championship despite a broken foot in the main event, while top flyweights Ian McCall and John Lineker both held court against their unranked opponents. In the light heavyweight division, which has become a nightmare to rank outside of Jon Jones, #9 Phil Davis bested #2 Lyoto Machida via a controversial decision. Take a look below at the updated rankings coming out of UFC 163: Light Heavyweight 1. Jon Jones 2. Alexander Gustafsson 3. Phil Davis 4. Lyoto Machida 5. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira 6. Rashad Evans 7. Dan Henderson 8. Mauricio Rua 9. Glover Teixeira 10. Ryan Bader 11. Gegard Mousasi 12. James Te Huna 13. Emanuel Newton 14. Attila Vegh 15. Thiago Silva So now, the newly minted #3 light heavyweight (Davis) has defeated the fighters in the 2, 4 and 5 spots, but was defeated soundly by the #6 fighter. The next light heavyweight title challenger (Gustafsson) has only defeated two other fighters in the top 15 (#8 Rua and #15 Silva) but is widely viewed as the best stylistic test for Jon Jones. Keeping track of this division is certainly becoming a headache.
