MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
It’s that time of the year once again. December 25 means Christmas for those who celebrate (and typically a well-deserved a day off even for those who don’t). We here at MMAOddsbreaker want to wish all of our readers a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy Holidays. 2018 was a terrific year for MMA and we here at MMAOB couldn’t have the website we do without our loyal readers. So thank you to all the readers for making 2018 such a great year, and let’s hope 2019 is an even better year for the sport. With the UFC’s ESPN deal kicking off in just a couple of weeks, there’s a lot to be excited for in the near future.
On a personal note, I just want to thank MMAOB owner and founder Nick Kalikas for bringing me back to the fold earlier in the year. Long-time readers of the site know I was one of the original writers here but took a leave of absence a couple of years ago. It’s great to be back, and it feels like I never left. I also want to thank all of my fellow writers on the site, especially my Parting Shot Podcast co-host James Lynch, for recording the show with me once or twice a week since we brought the show back earlier this year. We’re excited to see where the show takes us in 2019. There’s big things ahead for The Parting Shot!
And finally, I have to give thanks to the fighters. The sport wouldn’t be where it is today if t wasn’t for the men and women who step into the cage to do battle and give us something to write about and talk about. Thank you fighters for what you do.
I’m excited for 2019, but before we move on to next year we still have UFC 232 and the PFL Finale to look forward to. What a great way to end what has been such a great year in MMA. Thank you again readers, and stay tuned for the latest MMA odds and ends the rest of this week and beyond.
