LFA 56 takes place at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota on Friday (Dec. 7 2018) at 9pm ET live on AXS TV. The vacant 155-pound title – left by PFL’s Robert Watley – is up for grabs in the main event as Elevation Fight Team’s Austin Hubbard faces Killys Mota.
Hubbard (9-2) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Harvey Park at LFA 39 and has won five of his last six fights. The 26-year-old will be competing for the third time this year. Mota (11-0) heads into this matchup off an impressive LFA debut where he submitted Bobby Lee at LFA 41 back in June. The 28-year-old has finished nine of his 11-career opponents.

In the co-main event, hometown favorite Bobby Lee will look for back-to-back wins when he faces Titan FC veteran Demarques Jackson. Lee (9-2) rebounded from his loss to Mota back in June with a flying knee knockout win over Ben Neumann at LFA 50 in August. The 22-year-old has won fhree of his last four fights. Jackson (9-2) heads into this matchup off back-to-back wins including a split decsiion victory over Bryce Logan at Bellator 204 in August. “Scrap Iron” has won four of his last five fights.
