LFA 54 takes place at Costa Mesa Hall at OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, California on tonight (Friday Nov. 16, 2018) at 9pm ET live on AXS TV. Women’s flyweight champion defends her title against Carol Yariwaki.
Mazo (5-0) was slated to face Jamiee Nivera at LFA 51 in September, however the Contender Series veteran had to pull out due to injury. The 21-year-old champion won the flyweight championchip after defeating Shannon Sinn by unanimous decision at LFA 37 in April. The Kings MMA product has finished two of her five career opponents.
Yariwaki (7-2) will be making her LFA debut and is coming off a second-round TKO win over Pamela Barros in May. The 31-year-old is 4-1 in her last five fights and has only gone the distance once during that span.

The co-main event features a middleweight bout with Moses Murrietta facing Sidiah Parker.
Murrietta (7-1) is coming off a second round TKO win in his LFA debut in July over Casey Ryan. The 29-year-old has finished five of his eight career opponents. Parker (19-7) has gone 8-1 in his last nine fights including a unanimous decision win over Jay Jackson at KOTC: Agressive Lifestyle back in September. “Rolling Thunder” hasn’t been finished in a fight since Nov. 2013.
Also on the main card is an exciting bantamweight fight pittung undefeated Vince Cachero against Joe Murphy.
Cachero (5-0) is coming off an impressive submission victory over Carlos Puente Jr. at LFA 45 in July. “The Anomaly” also boasts wins over top prospects Ryan Lilley and Nohelin Hernandez. Murphy (8-4) competes for the first time since June 2016 and is coming off three-straight losses. The 31-year-old has fought the likes of Terrior Ware and former LFA title challenger Vinicius Zani. He will be looking for his first win since Dec. 2014.
