UFC Fight Night 139 took place Saturday, November 10, 2018 in Denver, Colorado. The card was headlined by an exciting featherweight matchup between Chan Sung Jung and Yair Rodriguez.

In what will be remembered as one of the greatest knockouts of all time, Yair Rodriguez was down on the scorecards before landing a reverse upward elbow in the final moments of the fifth round to knockout Chan Sung Jung and win the fight. Rodriguez closed -130. Jung closed +100.
Germaine de Randamie did well in both open space and in the clinch to out class Raquel Pennington and win by wide decision across the board. De Randamie closed -230 while Pennington closed +180.
Beneil Dariush grappled early and often against Thiago Moises controlling him on the mat for over ten minutes of the bout to win a dominant decision. Dariush closed -165 with the return on Moises +135.
Maycee Barber put on a display landing vicious elbows in the second round cutting Hannah Cifers open. Barber continued with ground and pound until the referee stopped the bout. Barber closed -440. Cifers closed +340.
In a back and forth fight, Ashley Yoder had a strong third round to propel her to a razor close split decision victory over Amanda Cooper. Yoder closed -150 while Cooper closed +120.
Bobby Moffett synched in a d’arce choke in the second round on Chas Skelly and the referee stopped the bout determining Skelly was unconscious. The referee reviewed the stoppage on instant replay and the ruling stood awarding the fight to Moffett. Moffett closed -125. Skelly closed -105.
Davi Ramos was the biggest favorite on the card and looked like the biggest favorite on the card as he completely dominated John Gunther on the mat to win by first round submission. Ramos closed -1002 while Gunther closed +652.
Devonte Smith had an incredible debut dropping Julian Erosa in the first round and following up with punches on the ground to win by stoppage. Smith closed -238. Erosa closed +188.
Eric Shelton secured seven takedowns dominating the fight on the mat to beat Joseph Morales by decision. Shelton closed -153 with the return on Morales +123.
After a fairly pedestrian first round, Mark de la Rosa picked up the pace the remainder of the fight to control the action over the final ten minutes to win a decision over Joby Sanchez. De la Rosa closed -261 while Sanchez closed +211.
Underdogs that Won
Donald Cerrone swept Mike Perry to take top position and eventually worked his way to an armbar attempt which forced Perry to tap to give Cerrone the victory. Cerrone closed +165 while Perry closed -210.
In a close fight, Mike Trizano out worked Luis Pena on the feet to win a hard-fought split decision. Trizano closed +142 while Pena closed -172.
