LFA 50 Opening Betting Odds

LFA 50 takes place at Mystic Lake Center in Prior Lake, Minnesota on Friday (Sept. 21, 2018) at 9pm ET live on AXS TV.  The vacant middleweight title is up for grabs in the main event as Brendan Allen faces undefeated Tim Hilley.

Allen (9-3) will attempt to capture the LFA middleweight crown for the third time as he's had failed bids against Eryk Anders and most recently Anthony Hernandez at LFA 32 in January. The 22-year-old Roufusport product is coming off a highlight reel win over Larry Crowe at LFA 43 back in June. Hilley (7-0) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Tyler Vogel (8-3) at LFA 41 in June and has won both of his fights under the LFA banner. The Pura Vida MMA product also holds a win over Allen's teammate JP Saint Louis.

The co-main event features a heavyweight matchup with Brian Heden facing undefeated Brazilian Raphael Pessoa

Heden (31-16) has won five of his last six fights and will be making his LFA debut. The 33-year-old holds wins over Sean McCorkle, Tyler East and Travis Wiuff. Pessoa (8-0) will be making his North American debut and has finished six of his eight career opponents. The 29-year-old is coming off a unanimous decision win over Wagner Maia at Shooto Brasil 78 last November.
