Five Props that Cashed Big at UFC 228

Five Props is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here are five UFC 228 bets that cashed big based on the closing odds from across various sportsbooks.

1) Tyron Woodley by Submission (+865)

Most thought the welterweight title fight between Darren Till and Tyron Woodley would be a slugfest, but it was Woodley’s prowess on the ground to submit Till that won him the fight and provide bettors with the biggest prop cash of the night at +865.

2) Jessica Andrade by Knockout (+777)

In a stunning display, Jessica Andrade ravaged fellow contender Karolina Kowalkiewicz knocking her out for a rare standing knockout in the women’s strawweight division and a +777 cash.

3) Aljamain Sterling by Submission (+745)

A bout which many expected to be a close decision, Aljamain Sterling showed off his grappling ability as he secured a knee bar in the second round to force Cody Stamann into submission. Sterling by submission paid out a handsome +745.

4) Jim Miller by Submission (+685)

Long time veteran Jim Miller dropped Alex White in the opening round and followed up on the ground with a rear naked choke to get back in the win column. Miller by submission closed at +685.

5) Tatiana Suarez by Knockout (+550)

In a night full of standout performances, Tatiana Suarez’s may have been the most impressive of them all as she finished former champion Carla Esparza via TKO in the third round. Suarez jumps into the title picture with the stoppage victory.

A $100 parlay on these five props would have netted $3,648,839.
