LFA 48 takes place at Viaero Center in Kearney, Nebraska on Friday (Sept. 7, 2018) at 9pm ET live on AXS TV. Two of the top bantamweight prospects go to war in the main event as Roufusports’ Raufeon Stots faces Ryan Lilley.
Stots (9-1) hasn’t fought since December where he submitted Arnold Berdon in the first round at Victory FC 58. The 29-year-old has finished five of his nine opponents and his lone loss is to current UFC bantamweight Merab Dvalishvili. Lilley (9-3) heads into this main event on a three-fight win streak, including a first-round TKO win over Jordan Winski at LFA 45. The 28-year-old holds a win over current UFC bantamweight Andre Ewell.

The co-main event features a pair of fighters who could be facing flyweight champion Maikel Perez next in Factory X standout Brandon Royval facing Charles Johnson.
Royval (7-3) is coming off back-to-back wins over Demetrius Wilson and Jerome Rivera and will look for three straight wins for the first time ins his career. Johnson (7-3) has finshed five of his ten career opponents including a first-round TKO win over Andrew Kimzey at LFA 42 in his last fight. The 27-year-old’s only loss was to top flyweight Sean “Shorty Rock” Santella earlier this year.
