CES 52 takes place at 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA (former home to ECW Wrestling) on Friday (Aug. 17, 2018) at 7pm ET live on AXS TV. Chris Curtis’ vacant welterweight title is up for grabs as Jason Norwood faces Jeremiah Wells.
Norwood (18-5) gets a second crack at a CES title as he’s coming off a unanimous decision loss to Curtis back at CES 49 which snapped his three-fight win streak. The 34-year-old is 6-2 in his last eight fights. Wells (5-1-1) heads into this title fight off back-to-back wins including a victory over UFC veteran Jon Manley in his last fight. The 31-year-old has finished four of his sevent career opponetns.

The co-main event features a pair of UFC veterans clashing as Ron Stallings faces Nah-shon Burrell.
Stallings (14-8) hasn’t fought since Aug. 2016 and will be looking for back-to-back wins for the first time since June 2014. The 34-year-old is 2-2 in his last four fights. Burrell (15-10-1 NC) has lost three-straight fights and will be lookign for his first win since June 2017. The 28-year-old has never lost four fights in a row.
