CES 51 takes place at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island on Friday (Aug. 3, 2018) at 7pm ET live on AXS TV. Lightweight champion Nate Andrews defends his title against D’Juan Owens in the main event.
Andrews (13-1) is currently riding a seven-fight win streak including a submission victory over Chris Padilla at CES 49 where he captured the promotions lightweight title. “The Snake” has only gone the distance once in his 14-fight career. Owens (16-12-1) has won two of his last three fights however is coming off a TKO loss to Mike Stevens at Fight Lab 58 in March.

The co-main event features a vacant featherweight title fight pitting UFC veteran Sean Soriano against former WSOF fighter Bruce Boyington.
Soriano (11-5) has won back-to-back fights and has gone 3-2 since leaving the UFC in 2015. The 28-year-old hasn’t gone the distance in a fight since Sept. 2014. Boyington (15-11) rebounded from a three-fight skid when he defeated Taylor Trahan at NEF 32 in February. The 39-year-old looks for back-to-back wins for the first time since June 2016.
