Glory 55 takes place Friday, July 20 in the Hulu Theater of Madison Square Garden in New York. Combat sports oddsmaker Nick Kalikas recently released odds for the card, and here are the opening odds courtesy of Several Bookmakers.
The main event sees Glory middleweight champion Alex Pereira (27-6) put his belt on the line in a rematch against challenger Yousri Belgaroui (24-4). Pereira has a 5-3 record in Glory and has won three straight fights in the promotion, winning the title at Glory 46 last October and most recently earning a TKO via doctor stoppage in the third round against Belgaroui last December. Belgaroui has gone 5-2 in Glory incluging a victory over Pereira for the middleweight contender tournament in April of 2017. He most recently stopped Dawid Kasperski this past May via TKO due to four knockdowns.
The co-main event sees Glory featherweight contender Petchpanomrung Kiatmookao (159-36-2) battle challenger Kevin VanNostrand (17-2) for the Glory interim featherweight title. Kiatmookao is 6-1 in Glory and was supposed to battle champion Robin van Roosmalin in the main event but the champ was forced out of the fight with an injury. VanNostrand is 5-2 in Glory and was expected to compete in a main card fight but was bumped up to an interim title opportunity when van Roosmalin pulled out.
There are plenty other intriguing bouts on the card including a super bantamweight contest featuring top female fighter Tiffany van Soest on the preliminary card. The odds for the event are posted below:
