LFA 45 takes place at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, California on Friday (July 20, 2018) at 10pm ET live on AXS TV. Former UFC welterweight Erick Silva headlines the card against Nick Barnes in a welterweight affair.
Silva (19-9) has lost four of his last five fights, including a unanimous decision loss to Jordan Mein at UFC on FOX 26 in December. The 34-year-old will be looking for his first wince since Sept. 2016 and competes outside the UFC for the first time since Oct. 2010. Barnes (12-3) has been finished in two of his last three fights including a TKO loss to current UFC welterweight Curtis Millender at LFA 30 back in January. “The Phoenix” has never lost back-to-back fights in his career.
The co-main event features a bantamweight matchup pitting Jordan Winski against Ryan Lilley.
Winski (9-1) heads into this matchup on a five-fight win streak, including a first-round submission victory over Mike Hamel at LFA 31 in January. The 29-year-old also holds a win over current CES bantamweight champion Andre Ewell. Lilley (8-3) has won three of his last four fights with all of those wins coming by stoppage. Like his opponent, Winski also holds a win over Andre Ewell and has only gone the distnace three times in his 11-fight career.
