LFA 42 Opening Betting Odds

LFA 42 takes place at Branson Convention Center in Branson, Missouri on Friday (June 1, 2018) at 9pm ET live on AXS TV. Former LFA welterweight champion Derrick Krantz faces former Victory FC champion Kassius Kayne in the main event.

Krantz (21-10) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Artenas Young at Rite of Passage 3, which was his fourth win in his last five fights. The lone loss during that stretch for “D-Rock” was a controversal decision loss to current LFA welterweight champion James Nakashima at LFA 23. Kayne (12-4) is coming off back-to-back wins over Jordon Larson and Ivey Nixon, with both of those victories coming by knockout. The 31-year-old has only gone the distance once in his last four fights.

The co-main event is another pivitol matchup in the welterweight division as Jaleel Willis faces Chel Erwin-Davis.

Willis (6-1) is coming off the first loss of his professional career as he was on the wrong end of a decision at LFA 33 against Contender Series vet Kyle Stewart. The 26-year-old has won four of his six career fights by knockout. Erwin-Davis (5-1) heads into his LFA debut on a three-fight win streak, with all of those victories coming inside the distance. “The First Sun” hasn’t fought since June 2017 and has only competed three times since 2015.
