Titan FC 49 Opening Betting Odds

Titan FC 49 takes place at Xtreme Action Park in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida today (Friday, April 6, 2018) at 7 p.m. (ET) live on UFC Fight Pass. The featherweight title is on the line in the main event as undefeated Jason Soares faces champion Luis Gomez.

Soares (10-0) won nine fights in the Fight Time promotion including a decision over Guilherme Faria last October and will be making his promotional debut. The 28-year-old has won sevenof his 10 career fights by submission Alvarez (6-1) is coming off a technical knockout victory over Sodiq Yusef at December’s Titan FC 47 card to claim the featherweight crown. The 23-year-old is 2-0 under the Titan FC banner, with his lone career loss being to Dan Ige on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.

The vacant welterweight title is also on the line as Fight Time champion Jose Caceres takes on Rami Hamed. Caceres (13-7) earned the Fight Time belt by submitting Cristiano Souza last November. He has won 11 of his 13 career victories by submission. Hamed (6-1) most recently earned a first round knockout of Isidro Rodriguez at Titan FC 46 last November. All of Hamed’s victories thus far have been by knockout.

Also on tap, Rafael Alves takes on Guilherme Miranda in a 158 pound catchweight fight and Said Sowma and Steve Mowry throw down in a heavyweight contest.
