Five Props is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here are five UFC Fight Night 127 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds from across various sportsbooks.
1) Danny Henry by Submission (+1165) Danny Henry increased his record to 2-0 in the UFC and couldn’t have looked more impressive in doing so by quickly hurting Hakeem Dawodu on the feet and following that up with a vicious guillotine forcing Dawodu to submit. Henry by submission backers were paid out at a huge +1165.
2) Paul Craig by Submission (+900) In one of the most stunning finishes to a MMA bout in some time, Paul Craig was dominated for the first 14 minutes of this fight until he secured a desperate triangle attempt forcing Magomed Ankalaev to submit in the final second of the 15 minute to earn a stunning upset victory. Paul Craig by submission closed at +900.
3) Dmitriy Sosnovskiy by Submission (+400) In his heavyweight debut in the UFC, Dmtriy Sosnovskiy had his struggles with Mark Godbeer, but took over the fight in the second round and securing a rear naked choke to earn his second win in the UFC. Sosnovskiy by submission paid +400.
4) Leon Edwards by Knockout (+375) Leon Edwards should see his 15th rank in the welterweight division increase as he took it to Peter Sobotta in the third round and earned a TKO victory in the final second of the bout as the referee stepped in to stop the contest. Edwards by knockout was a +375 winner.
5) Alexander Volkov by Knockout (+350) In the bout with the most title implications on the card, Alexander Volkov put himself in title contention as he stunned the London crowd finishing former champion Fabricio Werdum by fourth knockout knockout. Volkov by knockout was a +350 cash.
A $100 parlay on these five props would have netted $1,351,869.
