Five Props that Cashed Big at UFC Fight Night 126

Five Props is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here are five UFC Fight Night 126 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds from across various sportsbooks.

1) Geoff Neal by Submission (+1200)

In one of the largest prop cashes of 2018, Geoff Neal secured his first submission victory in five years as he won by bulldog choke in the first round. Neal has heavy hands and threatens with strikes in every fight he is in, so a submission victory was certainly a surprise result. For those contrarians playing Neal by submission, a +1200 cash was earned.

2) Carlos Diego Ferreira by Knockout (+1100)

Carlos Diego Ferreira earned the second knockout of his career as he dropped Jared Gordon on the feet and then held one of his arms back so he’d have easier access to punch on the mat to earn a TKO victory. Ferreira by knockout paid out at a fantastic +1100.

3) Curtis Millender by Knockout (+490)

In the cage against a veteran like Thiago Alves is no easy task, but the UFC debutant dazzled earning a head kick knockout for the biggest win of his career. The talented welterweight to win by knockout scored bettors a +490 winner.

4) Donald Cerrone by Knockout (+366)

In the night’s main event, Donald Cerrone was squared off against fellow action striker Yancy Medeiros. In a fight that very few thought would go the distance, both fighters landed some big strikes early but it was Cerrone that dropped Medeiros in the final seconds of the first round and secured a finish. Given the scenario, Cerrone by knockout paid out at a generous +366.

5) Oskar Piechota by Knockout (+265)

In the night’s opening bout, Oskar Piechota earned his second straight win in the UFC as he knocked out newcomer Tim Williams in the first round. Piechota by knockout closed at +265.

A $100 parlay on these five props would have netted $1,565,408.
