UFC Fight Night 126 Closing Odds and Betting Results

UFC Fight Night 126 took place Sunday February 18, 2018 in Austin, Texas. The card was headlined by a welterweight fight between Donald Cerrone and Yancy Medeiros.

Favorites that Won

In a back and forth contest, Derrick Lewis landed a huge punch out of the clinch to drop Marcin Tybura to earn a knockout in the third round. Lewis closed -120. Tybura closed -110.

James Vick utilized his length well to land a leg kick heavy attack to win a decision over Francisco Trinaldo. Vick closed -215 while Trinaldo closed +170.

Brandon Davis landed the heavier punches cutting Steven Peterson open, however Peterson was resilient enough to last to the final bell. It wasn’t enough as Davis earned the decision win. Davis closed -156. Peterson closed +126.

Sage Northcutt was hurt in both the first and second round, but had a strong third round to take a decision victory over Thibault Gouti. Northcutt closed -350 while Gouti closed +280.

Geoff Neal landed the bigger shots on the feet, but it wasn’t until he was able to find his opponent’s neck and secure a choke. Neal closed -225 with the return on Camozzi +175.

Lucie Pudilova dropped Sarah Moras twice in route to entertaining decision victory. Pudilova closed -145 while Moras closed +115.

Alex Morono dropped Josh Burkman and then followed up with a guillotine choke to win by first round submission. Morono closed -342. Burkman closed +262.

Oskar Piechota landed a huge overhand right that dropped Tim Williams to the mat to give him a first round knockout victory. Piechota closed -317 with the return on Williams +290.

Underdogs that Won

Donald Cerrone dropped Yancy Medeiros in the final seconds of the opening round and finished with ground and pound to get a first round TKO in the night’s main event. Cerrone closed -110 while Medeiros closed -120.

Curtis Millender utilized his length well and landed a devastating head kick to drop Thiago Alves in the second round for the biggest win of his career. Millender closed +130. Alves closed -160.

Carlos Diego Ferreira returned to the UFC after a two year absence and never looked better as he dropped Jared Gordon in the first round and followed it up with ground and pound to earn the win. Ferreira closed +155 while Gordon closed -195.

Roberto Sanchez controlled Joby Sanchez with grappling from the very start of the fight and worked his way to the backpack position where he was able to secure a rear naked choke victory. Roberto Sanchez closed +130. Joby Sanchez closed -160.
