Five Props is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here are five UFN 125 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakers.
1) Lyoto Machida by Decision (+600) In the night’s main event, Lyoto Machida fought in his hometown against surging middleweight Eryk Anders. Machida showed that he can still compete in the UFC earning his first victory since 2014 in a razor close decision. The victory by decision was the top prop win of the night at +600.
2) Deiveson Figueiredo by Knockout (+530) In the opening bout of the night, Deiveson Figueiredo made a statement that he’s one to watch in the flyweight division as he knocked out undefeated Joseph Morales in the second round. The knockout victory paid out at a handsome +530.
3) Sergio Moraes by Decision (+445) It was a night of favorable decisions for Brazilians. Despite being out struck by 42 total strikes, Sergio Moraes took home a split decision victory over Tim Means. For those who played Moraes by decision, they were rewarded with a +445 ticket.
4) Iuri Alcantara by Knockout (+425) A fighter that has as many good performances as bad ones, Iuri Alcantara had one of his better ones making quick work of Joe Soto. Alcantara by knockout paid +425.
5) Timothy Johnson by Decision (+320) In a night dominated by Brazilians, Timothy Johnson was the first non-Brazilian to get a victory on the card and only one of just two overall (Valentina Schevchenko being the other). Johnson was able to avoid the power punches of his opponent to earn a hard fought decision victory. Johnson by decision was a +320 winner.
A $100 parlay on these five props would have netted $529,861.
