Ronda Rousey signs with WWE, debuts at Royal Rumble Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has signed a full-time deal with WWE, as reported by all major media outlets Sunday night after Rousey debuted in at the end of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view Sunday. Rousey was one of the brightest stars in the UFC, the first woman to headline pay-per-views, but her future became cloudy after consecutive knockout and TKO losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes.
Rousey hinted at a WWE stint dating back to 2016 when she made an appearance at Wrestlemania with Dwayne Johnson.
