Your Best Bets for UFC 220’s ‘Fight of the Night’

UFC 220: Miocic vs. Ngannou
Date: January 20th
Arena: TD Garden
City: Boston, MA

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is headed to Boston, MA for the fifth time in promotional history with UFC 220: Miocic vs. Ngannou. The 11 fight card is scheduled to kick off with preliminary action on UFC Fight Pass at 7 p.m. ET. Prelims will continue on FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m., with the main card getting under way on Pay Per View at 10 p.m. If interested in wagering on any bouts for these fight cards, all betting lines are made available at Several Bookmakers.

These are your best bets for the bonus:

Burgos/Kattar (+475) 1u to win 4.75u

I expect this to be a highly entertaining fight in the UFC’s featherweight division. I think it will be fireworks from start to finish, whether it lasts a minute or goes all 15, which many favor it to do, as both fighters are quite tough and durable. Shane Burgos is looking to make it four straight wins for himself inside the Octagon in his first main card slot, which is coming on Pay Per View. Calvin Kattar will be hoping to make it two straight for himself following a unanimous decision win over Andre Fili in his promotional debut. Though neither 145 pounder is ranked, I believe they will both be in the future, and the winner should be following this bout. Should they manage to take home the evening’s honors, it would be the second time for Burgos, while being the first for Kattar.

Pantoja/Ortiz (+700) 1u to win 7u

I think this will be a fun scrap in the UFC’s flyweight division, as Alexandre Pantoja and Dustin Ortiz are two entertaining fighters who put it all on the line in an effort to get their hand raised. They are both veterans, though Pantoja is the new blood in the division, making this a bit of a “new school versus old school” matchup. At +700, I find this betting line tough to pass up. Should Pantoja and Ortiz end up taking home the bonus, it would be the first time for both of them.

2018 FOTN results: 0-1 for -3u

2017 FOTN results: 7–9 for +5.75u
