UFC Fight Night 124 Closing Odds and Betting Results

UFC Fight Night 124 took place Sunday, January 14, 2018 in St. Louis, Missouri. The card was headlined by a featherweight bout between Doo Ho Choi and Jeremy Stephens.

Favorites that Won

Kamaru Usman mauled Emil Meek on the mat to win a dominant decision. Usman closed -750 with the return on Meek +525.

James Krause was able to get Alex White to the mat in all three rounds to earn a decision victory. Krause closed -180 while White closed +158.

Irene Aldana beat Talita Bernardo up on the feet to win a clear decision on the scorecards. Aldana closed -135 with the return on Bernardo +115. 

After a slow start, Kyung Ho Kang got the best of Guido Cannetti securing a triangle submission victory towards the end of the first for the first finish in the UFC in 2018. Kang closed -290. Cannetti closed +245.

Jessica Eye secured a couple of timely takedowns in the third round to sneak out a split decision against Kalindra Faria. Eye closed -135 while Faria closed +115.

JJ Aldrich utilized her length well peppering Danielle Taylor from the outside to earn a decision win. Aldrich closed -130 with the return on Taylor +110.

Underdogs that Won

After a competitive opening round, Jeremy Stephens took control in round two dropping Doo Ho Choi to the mat with a right hand and then following up on the mat to earn a stoppage victory. Stephens closed +145 while Choi closed -165.

Jessica Rose-Clark outgrappled Paige Vanzant to win a decision on the scorecards in the night’s co-main event. Rose-Clark closed +100 with the return on Vanzant -120.

Darren Elkins earned his sixth straight win after he submitted Michael Johnson in the second round. Elkins closed +175 while Johnson closed -210.

Marco Polo Reyes landed early and often against Matt Frevola knocking out the American in the opening round. Reyes closed +185. Frevola closed -200.

Mads Burnell was able to push Mike Santiago against the fence repeatedly and secure takedowns to win the last two round to earn a decision victory. Burnell closed +165 while Santiago closed -190.
