After a week break, Ultimate Fighting Championship returns next weekend with UFC Fight Night 124 on January 14th in St. Louis, Missouri. The event is headlined by a featherweight contest between top sluggers Doo Ho Choi and Jeremy Stephens.
Betting odds for the main event were already released, as well as the main card welterweight contest between Kumaru Usman and Emil Meek, but there are still 11 other bouts on the card, including several high profile contests.
The co-main event features former champion Vitor Belfort as he takes on the always exciting Uriah Hall in a middleweight bout. Belfort snapped a three-fight losing streak with a decision win this past June while Hall snapped a three-fight losing streak of his own when he knocked out top-15 middleweight Krzysztof Jotko in September.
Also on the main card is the extremely popular Paige Van Zant as she makes her flyweight debut against Jessica Rose-Clark. Van Zant hasn’t fought in over a year since losing via first round submission to Michelle Waterson in December of 2016 while Rose-Clark recently made a victorious UFC debut with a decision victory over Bec Rawlings.
Other intriguing fighters on the preliminary card include Michael Johnson making his featherweight debut, Jessica Eye returning to flyweight, the division she reigned before signing with the UFC and bantamweight Kyung-Ho Kang returning to the UFC after missing over three years due to his South Korean military service obligation.
