The main card odds for UFC on Fox 26 were released earlier this past weekend, but now it’s time to get on with the rest of the show, which takes place Saturday, December 16 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
The headlining bout of the preliminary card is a light heavyweight contest between Jan Blachowicz and Jared Cannonier. Blachowicz is stepping in on short notice for Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, who was pulled from the card after getting popped by USADA. Both Cannonier and Blachowicz won their last bouts.
In middleweight action, Julian Marquez, fresh off an impressive performance on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series takes on Darren Stewart, who will be making his second appearance at 185 pounds. Stewart lost his middleweight debut via first round submission just one month ago.
Other intriguing fighters competing on the preliminary card include former flyweight title challenger Tim Elliott, TUF winner Chad Laprise and a highly intriguing battle between two former welterweight prospects in Erick Silva and Jordan Mein.
