UFC Fight Night 123 took place Saturday, December 9, 2017 in Fresno, California. The card was headlined by a featherweight bout between veteran Cub Swanson and surging prospect Brian Ortega.

Marlon Moraes earned the most impressive win of his career as he knocked out Aljamain Sterling in the opening round of their top ten bantamweight clash. Moraes closed -145 while Sterling closed +135.
Scott Holtzman was able to take Darrell Horcher to the mat in each round to win a decision. Holtzman closed -145 while Horcher closed +125.
Eryk Anders had his way with Markus Perez in their middleweight bout beating him up on the feet and on the mat for a dominant decision win. Anders closed the biggest favorite on the card at -470. Perez closed +375.
Benito Lopez and Alex Morales put on a barn burner of a fight in which both guys left battered from the damage inflicted by his opponent. Lopez landed the more impactful strikes in this bout nearly finishing Morales on multiple occasions to get the decision win. Lopez closed -125 with the return on Morales +105.
Alex Perez dominated his fight with Carls John de Tomas from start to finish securing a second choke for the victory. Perez closed -420 while de Tomas closed +335.
After a competitive first two rounds, Davi Ramos was able to take the back of Chris Grutezemacher and latched in a rear naked choke earning a third round submission victory. Ramos closed -400 and Grutezemacher closed +325.
Trevin Giles had a big advantage on the feet landing his jab and an overhand right on Antonio Braga Neto throughout the fight. In the third round, Giles dropped Neto to earn a TKO win. Giles closed -270 with the return on Neto +230.
Underdogs that Won Gabriel Benitez won a one sided decision over Jason Knight out classing him on the feet in all three rounds. Benitez closed +270 with the return on Knight -330.
Alexis Davis got beat up on the feet, but she threatened with submissions in each round on the mat to win a split decision over Liz Carmouche. Davis closed +105. Carmouche closed -125.
Andre Soukhamthath landed a punch completely against the grain of the action to drop Luke Sanders and finish him in the second round. Soukhamthath closed +285 while Sanders closed -345.
Frankie Saenz was taken down several times throughout the fight by Merab Dvalishvili, but was able to out strike him to win a split decision. Saenz closed +165. Dvalishvili closed -190.
In a rather low pace fight with limit dangerous moments, Alejandro Perez edged out Iuri Alcantara to win a decision. Perez closed +155 while Alcantara closed -175.
