TUF 26 Finale Closing Odds and Betting Results

The Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale took place Friday, December 1, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card was headlined by the inaugural women’s flyweight bout between Nicco Montano and Roxanne Modafferi.

Favorites that Won

Nicco Montano was awarded the flyweight title after she out worked Roxanne Modafferi to a wide decision victory. Montano closed -210 with the return on Modafferi +175.

In a tremendous fight, Sean O’Malley beat Terrion Ware in a high pace, action packed decision. O’Malley closed -230 while Ware closed +190.

A devastating body kick from Gerald Meerschaert dropped Eric Spicely to canvas forcing referee Herb Dean to step in and a call a stop to the action in the second round to give Meerschaert the win. Meerschaert closed -170 with the return on Spicely +150.

In a 50/50 scramble, Brett Johns got the best of Joe Soto forcing a quick tap out with a calf slicer. Johns closed -165 while Soto closed +145.

Montana de la Rosa quickly wrapped up an armbar from the bottom and secured a first round submission win over Christina Marks. De la Rosa closed -360 with the return on Marks +300. 

Shana Dobson landed some heavy shots against the cage in the second round that forced Ariel Beck to stop engaging and force the referee to step in resulting in a TKO victory for Dobson. Dobson closed -190 while Beck closed +165.

Rachael Ostovich had her way with Karine Gevorgyan submitting her via armbar in the first round. Ostovich closed -420. Gevorgyan closed +375.

Underdogs that Won

In a back and forth bout, Lauren Murphy got a pivotal takedown in the third round to take the final round of the fight and win a split decision over Barb Honchak. Murphy closed +200 with Honchak -240.

After nearly being finished in the opening round, Ryan Janes continued to press forward and beat up Andrew Sanchez to win by third round stoppage. Janes closed +450 while Sanchez closed -600.

Gillian Robertson lost top position on the mat, but quickly countered to secure an armbar on the mat to submit Emily Whitmire in the first round. Robertson closed +165 with the return on Whitmire -190.

Fights That Ended in a Draw

Deanna Bennett and Melinda Fabian fought to majority draw after Fabian had a point deducted in the second round due to a fence grab. Bennett closed -550 while Fabian closed +425.
