Glory 48 Opening Betting Odds

Glory 48 returns to the United States for an event Friday (December 1, 2017) in New York live on UFC Fight Pass and ESPN 3. In the main event, Kevin VanNostrand battles Anvar Boynazarov for the interim Glory Featherweight Championship.

VanNostrand (12-1) heads into this matchup on a three-fight win streak including two victories in one night at Glory 43 this past July, which crowned him the number one contender. Boynazarov (91-23-2) has gone 2-2 under the Glory banner and was recently a finalist in a featherweight tournament just one event ago at Glory 47.

In the co-main event, former UFC light heavyweight contender Thiago Silva makes his kickboxing debut against another MMA fighter-turned-kickboxer, John King.

Perhaps the most intriguing bout on the card takes place in the main event of the UFC Fight Pass portion of the card as Glory Women’s Super Bantamweight Champion Tiffany van Soest takes on Anissa Meksen in a title fight. Van Soest (18-2-1) has gone 4-0 under the Glory banner, winning the title this past August at Glory 44. Meksen (93-3) has gone 2-0 inside the Glory ring and won top contendership at Glory 47 a month ago.

A semifinal tournament will also take place on the card with the winner qualifying for the middleweight contender tournament at a later event.

MMA oddsmaker Nick Kalikas opened the betting odds for the following bouts on the Glory 47 card today at Several Bookmakers.
