Invicta FC 26 takes place at the Park Theater in Las Vegas, NV Friday (Dec 8, 2017) at 8 p.m. (ET) live on UFC Fight Pass. Flyweight champion Jennifer Maia defends her championship against Agnieszka Niedźwiedź in the main event.
Maia (14-4-1) won the interim flyweight title at Invicta FC 16 in 2016 defeating Vanessa Porter by unanimous decision. She followed that up with a split decision win over TUF 26’s Roxanne Modafferi at Invicta FC 19 in September and has now won five-straight fights. Niedźwiedź (10-0) made her Invicta FC debut last year and has won back-to-back fights with the promotion. The 22-year-old most recently defeated Vanessa Porto by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 23 this past May.
In the co-main event jiu-jitsu sensation Mackenzie Dern makes her promotional debut against Kaline Medeiros. Dern (4-0) has fought her entire MMA career under the Legacy FC/LFA banner and is coming off a first-round submission victory over Mandy Polk in a flyweight matchup at LFA 24 in October. The MMA Lab product has finished two of her four opponents including TUF 26’s Montana De La Rosa. Medeiros (8-5) hasn’t competed since losing to Angela Hill at Invicta FC 20 in November 2016. That loss snapped the 38-year-olds five-fight win streak.
MMA oddsmaker Nick Kalikas opened the betting odds for the following bouts on the Invicta FC 26 card today at Several Bookmakers.
