UFC officials confirmed that Omari Akhmedov will face Marvin Vettori at UFC 219 on Dec. 30 in Las Vegas.
Akmedov (17-4) is coming off a split-decision win over Abdul Razak Alhassan at UFC Fight Night 109 and is currently riding a two-fight win streak. The 30-year-old has gone 5-3 in the UFC. Vettori (12-3) heads into this matchup off a decision win over Vitor Miranda at UFC Fight Night 112. The 24-year-old Kings MMA standout has won seven of his last eight fights.
