Here are my prop plays…
Kelvin Gastelum (-265) vs. Michael Bisping (+245)
Gastelum by Decision (+428)
I think it is pretty much 50/50 as to whether Gastelum wins this fight inside the distance or on the judges’ scorecards. I see a TKO and submission as both being realistic and possible outcomes, however I think the play that holds the most value and has an equal or better chance of cashing is the Gastelum by Decision prop at +428.
Zabit Magomedsharipov (-525) vs. Sheymon Moraes (+450)
Magomedsharipov Inside the Distance (+104)
I believe this is the most likely outcome to this featherweight contest. Moraes is a solid prospect but I see Magomedsharipov getting the better of him both on the feet and on the mat, and eventually stopping him.
Yadong Song (-145) vs. Bharat Khandare (+135)
Khandare by Decision (+300)
Song is tough and could have a future in the division, however I think his grappling disadvantage will cost him here in this contest, as I see Khandare outwrestling him for the majority of three rounds en route to a unanimous decision victory in his Octagon debut.
Shamil Abdurakhimov (-130) vs. Chase Sherman (+120)
Abdurakhimov by Decision (+170)
Fight Goes to Decision (-150)
I think Abdurakhimov winning a decision is the most likely outcome to this heavyweight contest scheduled for three rounds. Neither heavyweight is much of a finisher, so I think this fight is decided by the judges’ when all is said and done, regardless of who gets his hand raised. Being the superior mixed martial artist, holding advantages in both striking and grappling, I favor Aburakhimov in this matchup.
Cyril Asker (-250) vs. Hu Yaozong (+230)
Yaozong by Decision (+1255)
I don’t know much about Yaozong other than he is young for a heavyweight, in decent shape and training at Jackson-Wink MMA in Albuequrque, NM. Asker is a heavyweight that is generally worth fading, and although I won’t do so on the moneyline here, I will take a shot at the Yaozong by Decision prop at +1255, in case he is good enough to get the better of Asker, but not quite good enough to put him away in his UFC debut.
