UFC Fight Night 121 Closing Odds and Betting Results

UFC Fight Night 121 took place Sunday, November 19, 2017 in Sydney, Australia. The card was headlined by a heavyweight bout between former champion Fabricio Werdum and rising challenger Marcin Tybura.

Favorites that Won

Fabricio Werdum maintained a solid pace for five rounds out landing Marcin Tybura by a two to one margin on the feet to win a decision in the night’s main event. Werdum closed -300 with the return on Tybura +250.

In a closely contested bout that was fought almost exclusively against the cage and on the mat, Jake Matthews edged out a decision victory over Bojan Velickovic. Matthews closed -140. Velickovic closed +120.

Elias Theodorou put out a tremendous striking output out landing Dan Kelly by over a two to one margin to earn a decision victory. Theodorou closed -310 while Kelly closed +255.

Alex Volkanovski dominated this bout from start to finish with pressure and takedowns to win a unanimous decision over debutant Shane Young. Volkanovski closed -640 with the return on Young +470.

Ryan Benoit landed a flush head kick well into the third round which sent his opponent Ashkan Mokhtarian to the canvas to give Benoit a knockout victory. Benoit closed -290 while Mokhtarian closed +245.

Tai Tuivasa landed a flying knee against the cage flooring Rashad Coulter to give him a first round victory in his UFC debut. Tuivasa closed -175 with the return on Coulter +155. 

Frank Camacho landed the more punishing punches on the feet to win a back and forth split decision over Damien Brown. Camacho closed -125 while Brown closed +105.

Nadia Kassem closed out round three strong landing multiple head kicks to secure the round and the fight to win in her UFC debut against Alex Chambers. Kassem closed -200. Chambers closed +170.

Eric Shelton had no problems with Jenel Lausa employing a grappling heavy attack to cruise to a decision victory. Shelton closed -330 while Lausa closed +270.

After a poor opening round, Adam Wieczorek was able to win the final two rounds with Anthony Hamilton to win a decision in his UFC debut. Wieczorek closed -175. Hamilton closed +155. 

Underdogs that Won

Jessica Rose-Clark took over this fight in round two, out working Bec Rawlings both on the feet and on the ground to win a split decision in her UFC debut. Rose-Clark closed +110 while Rawlings closed -130.

In a very close contest, Belal Muhammad landed the more impactful punches to sneak out a split decision win over Tim Means. Muhammad closed +175 with the return on Means -210.

Nik Lentz stunned Will Brooks securing a second round arm in guillotine to get a win in which he was down on the scorecards. Lentz closed +345 while Brooks closed -430.
