UFC heads to main land China next week (Nov. 24, 2017) for UFC Fight Night 122 in Shanghai. Former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping has stepped in on short notice to take on Kelvin Gastelum in the main event after Anderson Silva was pulled from the bout.
The event will be streamed exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.
Odds for the Bisping vs Gastelum fight were released earlier this week, but there are still three other main card fights.
In the co-main event, Chinese welterweight standout Li Jianglang takes on Zak Ottow. Jianglang has gained some momentum in the division, winning three straight bouts including two by knockout. Ottow was victorious his last time out and has gone to split decision in all three of his fights inside the Octagon.
Also on tap, Chinese welterweight prospect Wang Guan makes his promotion debut against Alex “Bruce Leroy” Cesares. Guan is 16-1 with 10 of his professional victories coming by way of knockout. He enters the UFC on a four-fight win streak, but is already 31 yeras old. Caceres is 29 years old and this will already be his 18th fight in the UFC. He is coming off a doctor stoppage win against Rolando Dy in June.
Last but not least, Russian Wushu world champion Muslim Salikhov also makes his UFC debut as he battles Tristar product Alex Garcia. Salikhov has won 10 straight fights including back-to-back first round spinning back kick knockouts of UFC veterans Melvin Guillard and Ivan Jorge. Garcia most recently lost a decision to Tim Means in June.
