UFC officials announced that Jessica Eye will move up to flyweight to take on Kalindra Faria at UFC Fight Night 124 on Jan. 14 at Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
Eye (11-6) heads into this matchup off four-straight decision losses and will be looking for her first win since November 2014. “Evil” has fought primarily at flyweight prior to her signing with the UFC in 2013. Faria (18-6-1) came up short in her UFC debut this past october when she lost via submission to Mara Romero Borella at UFC 216. The Brazilian fighter has won three of her last four fights.
