Ultimate Fighting Championship will be back in action one week from tonight with UFC Fight Night 121 in Sydney, Australia on November 19, 2017, which should be a Saturday in the United States.
Headlining the event is a heavyweight battle between former champion Fabrício Werdum and surging contender Marcin Tybura. Werdum most recently handled Walt Harris on short notice and he’s stepping in to this main event on short notice after Mark Hunt was removed from the main event for precautionary reasons.
Also on tap, popular Australian female fighter Bec Rawlings bumps up a weight class to take on UFC newcomer Jessy Rose-Clark. Rawlings has lost two straight inside the Octagon and is hoping a change in weight class will turn things around. A welterweight attraction features heavy hitter Tim Means and volumous striker/wrestler Belal Muhammad. Both Means and Muhammad were victorious in their last appearances inside the Octagon via unanimous decision.
Sticking with the welterweight division, another fighter is moving up a weight class as top Australian prospect Jake Matthews leaves the 155 pound division and is welcomed to welterweight by Bojan Velickovic.
Last but not least, Canada takes on Australia as TUF winner Elias Theodorou battles Australian judo champion Dan Kelly in a middleweight showdown.
MMA oddsmaker Nick Kalikas opened the betting odds for these future fights last night at Several Bookmakers.
