UFC Fight Night 120: Poirier vs. Pettis
Date: November 11
Arena: Ted Constant Convocation Center
City: Norfolk, VA

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is heading to Norfolk, VA for the first time in promotional history with UFC Fight Night 120: Poirier vs. Pettis. The stacked 13-fight card is set to kick off with prelims on UFC Fight Pass at 6:30 p.m. ET. Preliminary action will continue on FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m., with the main card getting going on the same channel at 10 p.m. If interested in wagering on any bouts for these fight cards, all betting lines are made available at Several Bookmakers.

Here is my parlay:

Light Heavyweight bout: Marcel Fortuna (-250) vs. Jake Collier (+210)

Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Fortuna is the superior fighter at this point in their careers heading into this 205-pound contest scheduled for three rounds. Fortuna is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Jordan Johnson, while Collier is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Devin Clark. I think Fortuna is the rightful betting favorite in this bout, and even at -250, I see value in him for a wager, as I think he should be a -320 favorite in this spot. Collier has good wrestling and is solid on the feet, but his cardio is not great, and he does not have much heart, which is something you can’t teach. I see this as being Fortuna’s fight to win, and I see him coming out on top with an impressive victory over Collier, likely sending Collier to the unemployment line following this contest.

Gabe’s Call: Fortuna by Submission (rear naked choke, 2:13 round 3)

Middleweight bout: Karl Roberson (-225) vs. Darren Stewart (+185)

Gabe’s Thoughts: Roberson is making his Octagon debut in this contest against Stewart, who is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Francimar Barroso. I agree with the betting odds here in that Roberson should be the favorite, though I think he should be -270, which means I think he holds value at his current offering price of -225. I don’t believe he would be dominated by Stewart anywhere in this bout, and on the feet, I see him getting the better of the Brit en route to a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards, potentially securing a T/KO stoppage along the way. I do think he is the better fighter of the two and I see him pulling off a win in his UFC debut in Virginia.

Gabe’s Call: Roberson by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Fortuna (-250) and Roberson (-225) at +102
