UFC 217
Date: November 4
Arena: Madison Square Garden
City: New York City, NY
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in New York City for the third time in promotional history with UFC 217: Bisping vs. St. Pierre. The stacked 12-fight card is set to kick off with prelims on UFC Fight Pass at 6:30 p.m. ET. Preliminary action will continue on FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m., with the main card firing off on Pay Per View at 10 p.m. If interested in wagering on any bouts for these fight cards, all betting lines are made available at Several Bookmakers.
Michael Bisping (-105) vs. Georges St. Pierre (-105)
GSP by Decision (+190) I think this is the most likely outcome to this middleweight title fight. I don’t like GSP at 185-pounds, but I think this is a good matchup for him to pick up a win.
Joanna Jedrejczyk (-680) vs. Rose Namajunas (+555)
Namajunas by Submission (+860)
I see value in this betting line and think it is worth a stab, as I think Namajunas is capable of tapping the champion and taking her UFC women’s strawweight crown.
Paulo Borrachinha (-290) vs. Johny Hendricks (+260)
Hendricks by Decision (+384)
I believe this is the most likely outcome to this middleweight contest. Borrachinha is the biggest fighter and the more dangerous threat on the feet, but Hendricks has a big wrestling advantage in this bout, and I expect that to be his key to victory. I don’t see the Brazilian finding success stuffing Hendricks’ takedown attempts. I think Hendricks keeps putting him on his back for three rounds en route to earning a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards.
Mickey Gall (-105) vs. Randy Brown (-105)
Gall by Decision (+565)
I think this line holds great value, as I personally think it is the most likely outcome to this welterweight contest. I pick Gall to win here, and I could see him scoring a submission, but I think a decision victory is slightly more likely.
