ONE Championship: Legends of the World emanates from Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines Friday (Nov 10, 2017) at 7 a.m. (ET) live on Pay Per View. In the main event, lightweight champion Eduard Folayang faces Martin Nguyen
Folayang (18-5) captured the lightweight title last November when he knocked out former champ Shinya Aoki at ONE Championship: Defending Honor. “Landslide” has won six of his last seven fights and is currently riding a four-fight win streak. Nguyen (9-1) heads into this matchup off five straight wins, including a second-round TKO victory over Marat Gafurov at ONE Championship: Quest for Greatness in September. The Australian fighter has never gone the distance in his 10-fight career.
The flyweight title is up for grabs in the co-main event when champion Adriano Moraes squares off against Danny Kingad. Moraes (16-2) unified the flyweight belt in his last fight when he defeated Kairat Akhmetov by unanimous decision, avenging his 2015 loss to the Kazakhstan fighter. Eight of the 28-year-old’s 16-career wins have come by submission. Kingad (7-0) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Muhammad Aiman at ONE Championship: Kings of Destiny in April. The hometown favorite has gone the distance in four of his seven career fights.
