UFC Fight Night 119 took place Saturday, October 28, 2017 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The card was headlined by the return of Lyoto Machida as he took on Derek Brunson.

Favorites that Won Derek Brunson dropped Lyoto Machida in the opening round following up with ground and pound to earn a first round stoppage for the biggest win of his career. Brunson closed -145. Machida closed +135.
After a poor opening round, Francisco Trinaldo turned up the pace in rounds two and three to win a decision over Jim Miller. Trinaldo closed -220. Miller closed +180.
John Lineker landed the biggest punches of the fight to win a decision over Marlon Vera. Lineker closed the biggest favorite on the card at -485 with the return on Vera +385.
Vicente Luque had the best performance of his career submitting the previously undefeated Niko Price in the second round. Luque closed -130 while Price closed +110.
Antonio Carlos Jr. landed some punches on the feet before taking Jack Marshman to the mat. It only took a couple of minutes before he was able to secure a choke and earn the first round victory. Carlos Jr. closed -370 with the return on Marshman +330.
Jared Gordon showed a tremendous motor as he took it to Hacran Dias in the final two rounds to win a clear decision on the scorecards. Gordon closed -155 while Dias closed +135.
Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos was dropped in both the first and second round, but was able to recover to win a decision over Max Griffin in one of the more entertaining bouts of the year. Dos Santos closed -230. Griffin closed +190.
Marcelo Golm dominated this fight from the opening bell as he quickly made easy work of Christian Colombo securing a first round submission win. Golm closed -265 with the return on Colombo +225.
Underdogs that Won After a close round one, Colby Covington’s pace was too much for a worn down Demian Maia as the American out worked the Brazilian to earn a decision win. Covington closed +100 while Maia closed -120.
Pedro Munhoz once again secured a guillotine submission this time submitting Rob Font in the first round. Munhoz closed +155. Font closed -175.
Despite being taken to the mat in all three rounds, Deiveson Figueiredo did enough on two judges’ scorecards to earn a split decision win over Jarred Brooks. Figueiredo closed +125 while Brooks closed -145.
Pickem Fighters that Won Thiago Santos blitzed Jack Hermansson towards the end of the first round to earn a stoppage victory. Both fighters closed -110.
